THE SHADE TREE
The Shade Tree provides safe shelter to homeless women and children in crisis and offers life-changing services promoting stability, dignity, and self-reliance.
The Shade Tree is the only 24-hour accessible shelter designed specifically to meet the needs of women and children in Southern Nevada. With 364 permanent beds, The Shade Tree provides some 80,000 nights of shelter each year.
BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF AMERICA
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow all while having fun.
Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. Core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers, and family members that enable them to reach their full potential.
United Way envisions a world where all individuals and families achieve their human potential through education, income stability and healthy lives.
Its coalition of local charities throughout the U.S. improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.
Mobility Outreach International seeks to ensure that children and adults with limb loss or limb deformities in developing countries have access to high-quality orthopedic and physical rehabilitation services, so that they can enjoy lifelong mobility.
The foundation strengthens the local capacity of developing countries to provide prosthetic care, orthopedic surgeries, and the treatment of children with clubfoot.
FOOD ALLERGY & ANAPHYLAXIS NETWORK
Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) works on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis. This potentially deadly disease affects 1 in 13 children in the United States – or roughly two in every classroom.
FARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed in 2012 as the result of a merger between the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network and the Food Allergy Initiative.
Pledge 1% is a groundbreaking corporate citizenship initiative that encourages companies of varying sizes to support their communities in three complementary ways: by contributing product, employee time, and equity.
Participating companies implement a system of Volunteer Time Off (VTO) for employees, in addition to financial and product donations as appropriate.
